The hotel was perfectly situated for Newquay town centre. There was always plenty of parking space in the hotel's private carpark. A private small swimming pool and games room were there to be used at will. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners, they were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was lovely, all freshly cooked to order, they were very accomodating for personal dietary needs. There was a good selection for breakfast, croissants, cereals, cooked full English, or other cooked, fresh juice, coffee, tea & fruit etc. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay there again.
The only negative, allbeit very trivial, in my particular room, the ensuite didnt have a sink in it, you had to use the bathroom and then walk through the bedroom to use the sink. The room could have been a bit cleaner, ie, dust on skirting boards, but this wasnt too much of a problem as my husband and myself enjoyed everything else.

The staff were really friendly, although you knew they were there they also left you alone to do your own thing. Clearly a family run establishment where we had a really family friendly room. We had 2 single and a double bed within the room that fitted comfortably with plenty of walking space, with 2 children you usually end up with at least one of them on some kind of 'put me up' style bed.

I stayed here for a night and really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and the comfy bed. The hotel had a great recreational area with a pool table and a lovely garden to chill in. The only downside was that the bathroom was a bit cramped, but it didn't bother me too much. 😊

Owners / staff were great - very friendly and helpful. Really liked the games room / swimming pool set up. Very nice breakfast.
We booked family room for £150 per night. Was basic size room with 2 bunks squeezed in. Would have been way better value to get 2 rooms. Rooms very basic but good and clean.

We were made to feel very welcome upon arrival. We liked the fact of being not too close to the bars of Newquay. The rooms were a nice size and the Breakfast was excellent. Would definately reccommend staying here.

clean room , but breakfast options limited
The cleanliness of the room stood out to me, with fresh linens and neat surfaces. I especially appreciated the sea view.
There were some biscuit crumbs in the bedside drawer upon arrival.

The outdoor heated swimming pool was great! The breakfast was really good and they had a bar on the premises from 6pm. The owners were really friendly and they came and tidied our room everyday with fresh clean towels.
The bed was old and uncomfortable it also madelots of noise this was the only complaint as everything else was perfect!
